A Week in the Life of.... Sam Osborne Illustrations - Day Four

My last ready-to-go-range is the ultra glam Black Tie design.  You can buy them as printed items, where I will buy the print for you using my years of print buying experience. Or you can have them as printable PDF files that you can either print yourself or take to a printers near you.

Black Tie Glamour
Tie the knot in real style with this elegant design. Featuring opulent calligraphy this calls to mind the heyday of Hollywood glamour and would work well if you are planning a winter wedding. The black ground is softened with texture that adds interest and the vintage feel is extended into the text with a font inspired by 1920s Art Deco. However the chic look is equally at home in a modern setting with the double lines and end points of the expressive calligraphy adding real distinction.

Save the date
The save the date card is your first chance to show your guests the kind of day you have planned and with the stylish flourishes on this card they can’t mistake your elegant style. The main text on the A6 card is totally customisable and come with either a matching black back and envelope or with a postcard style back so it can be posted as is.

Invitation
This square invite keeps the elegant tone and includes personalised calligraphy of your names to really add that glamorous touch. You can tailor the text to exactly what you want and I can source matching envelopes to go with them - how about some gold ones to really set of the tone? My top tip is to order a few more than you think you need, in case you have some last-minute invitees and you can keep a few as mementos of the day.

Tomorrow we introduce to Sam's Hen Do creations... in the meantime you can view her collections online or contact her via the options below:

A Week in the Life Of... Sam Osborne Illustrations - Day Three

"The next of my ready-to-go ranges that I’d like to share with you is my soft, romantic pastel design.  You can buy them as printed items, where I will buy the print for you using my years of print buying experience. Or you can have them as printable PDF files that you can either print yourself or take to a printers near you.

Pastel Hearts
This gorgeous romantic design has an on-trend pastel colour palette that picks up on the fresh colours of spring. The hearts, which are sprinkled throughout, are made up of overlapping colours emphasising the love between the bride and groom. Fine diagonal lines provide structure and counter balance the softness of the hearts to create a design that has real energy. The narrow font has an elegant, 1920s feel about it meaning this design would work perfectly if you are planning a vintage wedding.

Save the date
The A6 card is a great size for a save the date, just the right size for your guests to stick to their fridge or lean on the mantelpiece. All the text is customisable and the cards are available with matching envelopes of a postcard style back so it can be sent through the post as it is.

Invitation
Give your guests an invite that sets the tone for your romantic wedding.  All the text on this A5 card is customisable and I can insert a space to write guests name on if needed. I’ve tried to make the pricing of all my ready-to-go ranges as clear and competitive as possible with 30 invites printed on heavy textured card to give them a really impressive feeling costing just £70 including the design customisation. And I offer discounts on larger orders so you could buy them for as little as £1.50 an invite. See, simple!"

Thank you Sam.  Tomorrow we introduce to her exclusive 'Black Tie' Range... if you can't wait until then you can view her collections online or contact her via the options below:

Win a Pre-Wedding Photo Shoot worth over £250!

This month we are delighted to be running a competition to enable you to win an Engagement Shoot.  So what exactly is an 'Engagement Shoot'?  Well it is an opportunity for you to meet up with a fab photographer and get some lovely photos of you and your future husband/wife.  It is also an opportunity for you to practise posing and to begin to feel comfortable in front of the camera in preparation for the 'big day'.

Afterwards you may like to incorporate the photos into your Engagement Party Invites - like the one below created by the very talented Knots & Kisses Wedding Stationey.  You could use your photos in your 'save the dates', your actual wedding inviations or as one of my friends did - create a beautiful display at your wedding.

Engagement Party Invite - Knots & Kisses Wedding Stationery

Also included in the prize, Joyce Connor from Brides & Beauty will also be on hand to make you feel a million dollars with her breathtaking make-up artistry skills.

How Can I Enter?
It's simple, just click here and fill in the form, letting us know in 100 words or less why you and your FiancĂ© deserve to win.  Good Luck!

Here are some of our favourite pictures from Emma's work.  For more inspiring photographs visit her blog.
