Elly Mac Photos were a finalist in our recent 'Photograph of the Year' competition and I absolutely adored their entries - I asked to see more of the Wedding and it was no surprise that I loved all of them too, so much so, that I had to share them with you...

The Wedding
Danny and Dylan were married on October 1st 2011, the hottest day in London, in Putney right on the river Thames. “We didn’t want a big formal wedding and we didn’t want the sort of off-the-peg wedding we saw on offer in all the hotels,”  “We kept everything simple and relaxed and organised it all in about three or four months.  We were so happy with how laid back and informal it was on the day.  Everyone told us organising a wedding is the most stressful thing you can do, but if that’s the case they’re doing it wrong! We enjoyed every minute of it and had a fantastic day.  We knew that all we had to do was get all our friends and family together in one place and we’d have a brilliant time.”

The ideas she had for our wedding were exactly what she created.”

Based in Battersea London, Elly Mac Photos provides photographic services to clients across Europe and the United Kingdom.  My photography style can be described as photo journalistic with an artistic edge.  I am inspired by many things but at the moment my work is very much influenced by vintage romance, dreamy hues and is all about meshing elements of traditional photography and the spontaneity of photo journalism with a touch of the whimsical and the girly. Fun, fresh and humorous.  I  adore wedding imagery from the 1900s through to the 1960s before wedding photography was common place and before the rules of wedding photography became ingrained in our cultural mindset. Elly Mac Photos is ideal for those couples wanting different, sweet, funny and relaxed photography.  You will be pleased to know, that your photos will tell the whole story of your day in a combination of candid, group and detail shots as well as staged group and couple shots that will be a reflection of you as individuals as well as a couple.
