Beautiful Bride takes a Saturday Morning trip to the Supermarket...

It's 6 Days to go until our next Wedding show and it's going to be huge!  With 100 suppliers involved, 3 Catwalk Shows, 'How To' Demonstrations, Bollywood and Burlesque Performances plus live music it's going to be a fabulous day.  Plus we will be raising money for the Florence Nightingale Hospice on the day so even more reason to come along. (That's if you needed one!)  So how do you go about promoting such a wonderful event?...

Well we took a trip to our local supermarket on Saturday morning to see some lovely shoppers and hand out leaflets... we had a gorgeous model with us wearing Charlotte Balbier's stunning 'Sweet Pea' wedding gown courtesy of Anna McDonald Bridal Gallery in Thame - this is such a beautiful design I literally fell in love with it the second I saw it!  The exquisite design will be one of a collection on the Catwalk on Sunday for those wanting a closer look!

Wearing gorgeous side tiaras from Princess Conchetta (including the brand new 'Tabitha' design) the lovely models set about wowing customers and promoting our fantastic event.  Luckily Frank Millar was on hand with his camera to capture the action and Emma Newman from Signature Flowers by Emma Newman was a surprise shopper enabling us to see her gorgeous brand new engagement ring!

Emma Newman ~ Congratulations xx

Bridal Catwalk shows are at 11.30am and 2.30pm with a catwalk dedicated just to Bridesmaids at 1pm.

Monday Morning Delight... "I don't know about you, but I love chocolate!"

Hi, I'm Ravinder a portrait, lifestyle and wedding photographer, who loves to capture those special moments in time. My style of photography is contemporary, with images that have a timeless appeal.
I have had a longstanding passion for taking unique and creative images of people and places, inspired by past travels. Because of this, I decided to share my creativity and enthusiasm by becoming a professional photographer.

I am a Licentiate of the SWPP, the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers. This provides me with ongoing training and networking opportunities, ensuring I stay up to date with the latest photography trends and news. I’m also fully insured with both public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
A wedding day is a very special time. To be chosen to record the event for someone is a real privilege.

Photographing weddings gives me great pleasure. I thrive on the excitement of the day and love working in an environment where everyone is in good spirits enabling me to capture those moments for you to cherish and memories to treasure.
I'm passionate about my clients as it is important to me to get to know you and build a special relationship. Every couple is unique and I love photographing weddings and telling the story of your day.

I was introduced to Anita from Fruitful Blooms by Mark Tomkins from Aubergine262 who designed her website.
I don't know about you, but I love chocolate!  A couple of months ago I was asked to photograph Fruitful Blooms range of products for their new website...

Fruitful Blooms make bespoke edible bouquets, arrangements and centre pieces using only the finest hand selected fresh fruits and luxury Belgian chocolate.
From weddings to parties, corporate events to single bouquets, they specialise in sculpting luxurious creations that are truly stunning and simply sumptuous.

As you can see from the images, they are lush, tempting and totally unique and practically irresistible!  They tasted even better than they looked, I would recommend Fruitful Blooms.

Exquisite Marie Antoinette Inspired Photo Shoot captured by Frank Millar Photography

Ice the Cake's network focuses on bringing fabulous wedding suppliers together.  So I was absolutely delighted to hear about this fantastic shoot organised by a member & showcasing so many others with such a sensational result.  For today's post I hand you over to Frank Millar...

Frank said:  "I was so excited when Aria of Crystal Bouquets Boutique told me of this amazing location and idea, which would end up being a two day shoot.

Day one was Marie Antoinette’s world as seen through an artist’s eye and captured on camera.

Day two's shoot was Mad Hatters Tea Party, as seen through the eyes of well mad people!

From a photographers perspective, I have never come across such a great venue for an indoor shoot. The colour splashed all over the house, from the floors to the ceiling and everything in-between, its a photographers paradise. Even outside is amazing!

Teamed up with the best top end suppliers made us create a shoot that can then be replicated for anyone booking the actual venue for a wedding or hen party. It really is a fantasy turned into reality.

The house and all the art in it was the original inspiration however the opulence of the era  provided an elegant alternative for a wedding shoot drenched in the sugar and gold colours.

We wanted it to feel like we were part of those beautiful rich paintings of that era but more importantly to show brides to be that they can easily enjoy the very same surroundings captured in the shoot. Whether they book the venue for afternoon tea and bridal shopping just like the girls in the shoot or have their actual wedding there, they too can be part of this gorgeous fantasy world."
