It may have been over a week ago now but the excitement still remains. Essex Fashion Week has become an annual highlight for one of our Suppliers Haley Jane Events and they are here with a guest blog today to share their account of this VIP event. Looking at the fun they had all we can say is that we are WELL JEL!...
"Ok, so it's the morning
of
Essex Fashion Week 8/4/2012. Yes you guessed it, it's Easter sunday, So
while everyone's indulging in Easter eggs were making the 2.5 hour trip
to CEME Venue
where Essex Fashion Week is taking place.
We arrive at CEME In Essex to be greeted by security and the longest red carpet I have ever seen and the huge white board with all well known sponsors including: Amy Childs, HeartFM, Marriot, RM Magazine, boohoo, Cinderella Hair, Wags World, Kosho, Lifestyle 24/7, Plus many more.
We entered the venue and it looked amazing with a huge white glowing catwalk for all the stunning models to take to and strut their thing!
As everyone was preparing for the opening of Essex Fashion Week. We met with Adam & Simon Ryan and the beautiful Danielle Bigaignon from WE BOP who showed us different areas of where we could set up our Candy Buffet & Candy Tree & colour coordinated pom pom trees, so we opted to set up in the VIP drinks & after party area.

The colour theme was black & silver so we have
brought the colour & theme to our candy buffet table. Our flower table
centre piece was made by the lovely Kris at Fusion Flowers - Where floral
designs come to life.
The atmosphere was amazing & exciting all rolled into one and we were so honoured to be asked to join the event for the 2nd year!
As it was Essex Fashion Week we wanted to incorporate our 5ft candy trees into the fashion theme.
The lovely girls from Love Cupcakes also provided their famous cookies which looked lovely and went down a storm.
Lily Sunshine also provided mini cupcakes, which were yummy!.

David Van Day & Sue Moxley enjoyed our candy treats for their lunch at Essex Fashion Week.
Such a funny man & Sue Moxley was so lovely after she brought the David over to our Candy Buffet! .... Thank you!

Many celebrities attended the Essex Fashion Week including 2 Shoes, 'Only Way Is Essex' Perri Sinclair, Jessica Wright, Billi Muklow, Cara Kilbey, and Lauren Goodger.

I also managed to catch up with desperate scouse wives at the After Party
I also supplied our popular pom-pom trees on the tables in the VIP tables ready for the after party also our bespoke 6ft pom-pom trees for each side of the catwalk they are all colour coordinated in black & silver and looked amazing.
So as Essex Fashion Week after party was in full swing and everyone was enjoying themselves with the sounds from Heartless Crew.
Also KIG (Heads, Shoulder, Knees & Toes) was so lovely to watch them perform live and catch up with them.
We managed to catch up with a couple of celebrities who were impressed with our work and loved what we did. It was also lovely & refreshing to be recognized from celebrities who remembered us from the previous Essex Fashion Week and knew all about us at Haley Jane Events.
